My Senior acting class had a very interesting request put to them, we were asked to play victims of a bus crash so that the local paramedics could put forth their knowledge in a crisis. Quite a few of us went for it right away, and after a few weeks of waiting VERY impatiently we were given a day and told to be at the Fire Station 9:30 sharp. We were given a list of injuries and told how to act, and then put into a buss and they used a metal sledge hammer to seal it closed. They used the jaws of life to take off part of the roof, which was the side of the bus because of the way it was flipped, tore out seats to move the people with spinal cord problems and stuff, and smashed in the windows to get in in the first place.
This is Powla, an exchange student from Mexico... she's an AWESOME actress and very covincing. She had chest problems with a rib poking into her lungs...
This is Brady, he had a fractured fibula and tibula. Not to happy eh?
Everyone before hand from the front of the bus, the window gave off reflections.
This is all of us! Cept the two kids to the left, they're only grade 10's but we needed extras for outside the bus to be all freaking out and stuff...
Umm...Me. I had a fractured pelvis (fun eh?) and had to act combative at first, which is not letting people come to close or move me...then i had to slowly go into shock and fall in and out of conciousness... this was near the end, after an hour of being inside the bus and crying and being strapped up and stuff... it was FREEZING, at the very end once i was off the stretcher and it was over, they asked me if i was shaking cuz i was asking or if i was cold... BOTH.
Ditto...
All of us..just kinda being stupid.
This is one of my friends, i just think its a really good picture, Isn't she pretty? Tell her that!
